B. M. Bower Article

This issue of the Nevada Historical Society Quarterly contains a 13-page article on author B. M. Bower, entitled: "El Picacho, The Writing Cabin of B. M. Bower by Alvin R. McLane. B.M. Bower was the pen name of western writer, Bertha Muzzy Bower Sinclair Cowan (1871 - 1940) and who wrote several novels while living in Quincy, CA in the 1910s. This article is about her time writing and mining in Nevada after she moved from Quincy. Incidentally, the cabin is still there. There are three other unrelated articles in this issue.
