Your generous donations help us collect, preserve, and share the social and cultural history of Plumas County. We understand that in these financially uncertain times, there are many worthwhile groups and organizations that compete for your support, so your extra gifts to us are extremely gratifying and greatly appreciated.
Although any amount is appreciated, we are offering the following incentives: for each $100 donation, you will receive a hardback copy of Fariss & Smith’s 1882 History of Plumas County; for each $150 donation, you will receive your pick (some limitations apply) of any 10 copies of Plumas Memories, the publication of the Plumas County Historical Society; for each $250 donation, you will receive a copy of Recollections of a ‘49er – a limited annotated, hardback reprint of the classic 1908 memoirs of Edward Washington McIlhany, a mule packer and ‘49er who came to Plumas County to make his fortune; donations from $500 to $999 receive all of the above plus a Plumas County Sesquicentennial Coin; while donations of $1000 or more get you all these items and your name engraved on a Museum Donor’s plaque to hang prominently in the Museum’s reception area.
Thank you for your generous support!
